Strictly Cricket

Adtec's resident commentators. Carlo Bruno (left), captain of Surrey's Rowledge Cricket Club Third Eleven, is well qualified to express a professional opinion of the players technique. Assisted in the commentators box by Debbie Stevens offering lucid judgment of their physique.

The adtec team went en masse in their tour bus to the Oval for some twenty 20 cricket on 2 July. Not to play this time, but to watch Surrey v Somerset. The sun was out and the atmosphere relaxed, with our resident sportspersons Paul & Carlo on hand for their enlightening match-side commentary.

Though not previously a fan, Debbie seemed inordinately impressed by Mark Ramprakash, perhaps harkening back to his winning Strictly Come Dancing. At the time he said it gave him the mental edge needed to help England regain the Ashes. Debs thought he also displayed other more noticeable winning qualities.

Our reluctantly resting sportsman Gary gingerly negotiated the terraces to keep the team supplied with refreshment all evening and a great time was had by all.

Cricket fans might like to know that the home side beat Somerset by 38 runs with the help of Jason Roy hitting 74 off of 51 balls, and a lightening quick catch by Surrey captain Rory Hamilton-Brown.
