‘A little help from my friends’ at Adtec!
Fab for us! The zebra crossing, made famous in 1969 by the Beatles after appearing on the cover of their last album Abbey Road, has just been listed Grade II as a site of cultural and historical importance.
Coincidentally this listing was announced just as we were manufacturing and installing over 100 new signs inside and outside the innovative Abbey Road Studios where almost all their recordings were made.
Adtec’s graphics guru, mop headed Mike Stanley, himself a contemporary of the Fab Four, feels proud his work is associated with them, and the first site of its kind to be listed. Though he admits to having ‘a little help from my friends’ at Adtec!
